We've got a real weird soft spot for Type Two fun (the stuff that feels more hard/dumb/painful than fun at the time, but afterwards has you giddy on endorphins). Early morning wake up calls, freezing temps, struggling through long runs and hikes and drives, all for a view, a sense of accomplishment, maybe a fire Instagram shot. That's what we got here from Colleen O'Neil and her dawn patrol pals. Get her behind-the-photo take below, and keep tagging your Type-whatever fun times #lifepoints for a chance to be on a wrapper like Colleen!
* Brief pause to recap what lifepoints is and how they end up on the wrappers of Picky Bars. #lifepoints encourages people to share their living-life-to-the-fullest moments. Whether it’s a bike ride with an old friend, swing set time with your kids after work, or a soul-cleansing trail run… Anything that makes you think, “Heck yes, this is living right!” Share your photos by tagging them #lifepoints on social media to join the fun and be considered for a future wrapper.
"Early in the morning last winter, some friends and I got out of our nice, warm beds to skin up Sunlight Mountain in Glenwood Springs. It was so cold that our snot was freezing in our noses. We finally got to the top as the sun was peeking over the mountain and warming the world. After the glorious winter sunrise, we had a sweet slide back down the slopes. That's what I think #lifepoints is about — the experiences in sports (and life) that make you a uncomfortable at first, but are worth it in the end!"
