If you were looking for a little inspiration this weekend, there was plenty of it flying around the roads, tracks, and pools. A few of our sponsored Picky Team athletes and Feed the Dream participants had BIG races, and we want to give out a couple of well deserved virtual high fives:

Road Mile Champs (Minneapolis, MN)

Heather Kampf defended her “Queen of the Road Mile” title by claiming her third consecutive and fourth total win at the event.

Garret Heath, who’s having a helluva season and is a two-time winner in the event, took the second step on the podium with a 3:59.

USATF 25k Champs (Grand Rapids, MI)

Kelsey Bruce nailed a top 10 finish for the second year in a row, placing 6th in a smoking 1:29 (that’s 5:47/mi for 15.5+ miles!!)

ITU World Triathlon Series (Yokohama, Japan)

Ben Kanute claimed his spot on the Olympic triathlon team, his 17th place overall finish sealing the deal after a season-long selection process.

Alyssa Seely (PT2) took the top women’s spot in the Olympic-distance event. Alyssa is already qualified for Team USA, where paratriathlon will make its debut as a Paralympic event in Rio.

Arena Pro Series (Charlotte, NC)

Caitlin Leverenz took a dominating win in her signature event, the 200-meter individual medley.

Anthony Ervin proved he’s BACK, not just with a smoking new memoir, but also by taking the W in the 50-meter freestyle in his first “unshaved and untapered” sub-22. Thanks for that hot tip, SwimSwam.
