Lifepoints Weekend 3.0

We call it part adult stayaway camp, part weird family reunion, because the only thing more prevalent than sweat and snacks and fresh air is the instant bond between people related by ideals rather than blood.

*No offence, Uncle Jim.*

Picky Club Lifepoints Weekend is our chance to get to know the people behind the emails, twitter handles, and monthly shipping labels - the customers we consider family. We open up the doors for a look behind the *very glamorous* scenes at HQ (it's the cleanest the office will be all year), and then spend all weekend showing off all of our favorite parts about Bend, a place we’re fiercely proud to call home. It's a chance to connect, reflect, and be reminded why we do what we do. And it's a chance for them to finally ask Lauren about "all balls", Steph about her first national championship, and how Jesse keeps his curls so voluminous despite so much time in a helmet and swim cap.

We kicked everything off with a nice welcome speech from the man in charge, backed up by the two women who dreamt up this crazy energy bar dream in the first place. The rest of the weekend was full of miles on dirt and memory lane, and included a guest appearance by Elyse, refreshing dips in various alpine water sources, a skills and drills clinic with pro cyclist Ali Halpin, and of course many of Bend’s bountiful beverage choices.

Already looking forward to v.4...
