When the term "well-rounded athlete" is used, it usually means they're talented in multiple aspects of sport. While that is certainly the case for Tianna (she's a sprint and long jump Olympic gold medalist, nbd) her accomplishments extend way beyond the track. She's a certified yoga teacher and leads a ton of live and on-demand classes. She writes with conviction and poise on a wide range of life + athletic topics, found on her blog, free e-book, and an upcoming memoir! She's the type of person little girls dream of being and adults dream of being friends with. And more than the medals, that's why we had to have her on the team.
Describe yourself in three words:
Resilient, Powerful, Empathetic
Who would play you in your biopic?
YaYa DaCosta (an upgrade on the real thing 😂)
Wildest memory / moment from competing?
2017 IAAF World Relays I came around the turn as the lead off leg for the 4x100m relay absolutely flying. And then suddenly I was falling. And the my brain shouted "WHY ARE YOU FALLING RIGHT NOW!?" and I proceeded to fall in slow motion, but the momentum I had generated running the curve carried me through the fall and so I skidded for TEN METERS - skin on track - before coming to a stop. And that entire time- I held on to the baton as if my life depended on it.

Best book you’ve read recently?
I have my own book club and this is still a hard question to answer. I'll say Caste by Isabel Wilkerson - just an eye-opening read about America.
Why Picky Bars?
Because my body deserves REAL food. Picky Bars contains ingredients I recognize and understand. I try to treat food like fuel. And Picky Bars are a part of my premium fuel choices for my body!
